Social Membership
Social members can attend Club events, maintain a coaching affiliation with the Club, and/or serve on the Board of Directors without a regular membership due to illness, physical impairment, or special exemption by Board.
NOTE: Club bylaws state a social membership does NOT qualify for curling (sparing/practice time).
From Bylaws: Social Members shall be entitled to enjoy all of the rights and privileges of the Club excepting the right and privilege to curl and to vote, with the exception of Article 2.1.10. (a section about Board members)
NOTE: Per Curl PEI rules a social membership does NOT qualify for participation in Provincial Events - a curling membership is required.
