Drop-in Based - but teams permitted
PRESEASON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON LEAGUE
WHEN: Wednesdays, 1:00pm-3:00pm, from September 17th through October 15th
COST: $30 + HST per person (see fees note below)
INCLUDES: 5 games. NOTE: Does NOT include access to free preseason practice ice time.
FEES NOTE: Participants are required to pay their annual Curling Canada ($5) and CurlPEI ($23) fees to participate in this league for insurance purposes. Curling IO will keep track of payments made, and this will cover your regular season CC/CurlPEI fees at ANY Island club. The club manager will work with CurlPEI and your club leadership to ensure things go smoothly.
FORMAT: We will primarily operate this league like we do our drop-in leagues - where teams will be made up on the day of the event. However, we recognize some teams may prefer to play together and we will respect those wishes for this series of games.
Registration will be limited to the first 32 curlers. NOTE: We anticipate this league to have enough curlers to move forward, however, if not enough curlers register, refunds will be given or participants given the option of a discount code for any fees paid to apply toward their season membership payments.
SPARES: It is not required to get a spare if you are going to miss a week, however, if you can give the club manager a heads up if you know you won't be there he may be able to recruit a spare or two to even numbers up. He also plays to serve as a spare for this league if needed.
NOTE: This is a preseason league only - it does not confer membership privileges nor count toward league discounts for the 2025-2026 curling season at the Cornwall Curling Club.
