COMPETITIVE PRESEASON LEAGUE 2025
WHEN: Sundays & Wednesdays, 6:30pm-8:30pm, from September 14th through October 15th PLUS a playoff event on Saturday, October 18th, 10:00am-3:00pm
NOTE: If more than eight teams register, we will also have a 2nd draw at 8:45pm-10:45pm
COST: $115 + HST per person (see fees note below)
INCLUDES: 12 scheduled games PLUS access to scheduled preseason practice ice at no additional charge
FEES NOTE: Participants are required to pay their annual Curling Canada ($5) and CurlPEI ($23) fees to participate in this league for insurance purposes. Curling IO will keep track of payments made, and this will cover your regular season CC/CurlPEI fees at ANY Island club. The club manager will work with CurlPEI and your club leadership to ensure things go smoothly.
This league is open to teams from any club! It is designed for competitive teams to gear up for the upcoming season.

- Saturday, October 18th: PLAYOFF EVENT NOTE: Each team will play TWO games on this date
DRAW SCHEDULE: Teams will be scheduled for every draw. If eight teams or fewer register all games will be played at the 6:30pm draw slot. If more than more than 10 teams register there will be two draws each week with the later game starting at 8:45pm. We will do our best to balance the number of evenings each team is in any late draw.
PRESEASON PRACTICE: We currently have 18 scheduled practice times for the preseason period which are FREE for any individual on a registered PEI Preseason League team. Non-registered curlers can participate in these practices for a $15 drop-in fee. If demand is high we may also increase the number of offerings.
NOTE: This is a preseason league only - it does not confer membership privileges nor count toward league discounts for the 2025-2026 curling season at the Cornwall Curling Club.
